I am always forgetting when my bills are due, or more often, what the current date is, so I keep ending up paying my bills at the last minute or even late because I lose track. I end up paying a lot of late fees, so I am trying to figure out the best way to deal with this. I have seen that my bank has online banking services available, and I am wondering if it will be possible to set up my account so that it automatically pays my bills each month. That way I don’t have to worry about forgetting to pay them and getting stuck with lots of fees.

Can I Get My Bills Paid Automatically?
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008Current Financial Crisis May Cause People To Withdraw From Retirement Accounts
Saturday, October 25th, 2008Now more than ever, people might be considering a simple ira withdrawl from their IRA or other retirement savings plans. Unfortunately, the penalties and taxes still apply, even though we are in a credit and financial crisis across the globe. It is hard to advise a person not to withdraw the money if that is the only resource available to them due to job loss. More than a half million people have lost their jobs this year, and we still have several months to go. Therefore, if a person withdraws $50,000, they may end up with approximately $35,000 after pay the fines and taxes.
My Personal Experience With Personal Liability Insurance
Monday, October 13th, 2008I really need to learn more about Personal Liability Insurance.
If you’re going to own your own business, you have to have insurance to protect yourself.
So I’ve been checking out my options for Commercial Umbrella Insurance online, trying to figure out the best choice.
The big issue is deciding how much coverage to get. I honestly have no idea how to figure that one out.
Until next time.
Credit crisis effects
Saturday, October 11th, 2008The banks and credit card companies are in a bit of a flap at the moment with the credit crisis. All of a sudden their bubble has burst, and they realized that the were too hasty in lending so much money to people and now things don’t look so good for them as well as the people that they lent the money too. For the man in the street to be cut off suddenly from reasonable credit lines would be a disaster, and many are turning to credit repair companies to help them renegotiate and reschedule their lines of credit. I found myself in this situation, and was able to reach a reasonable compromise and quickly. I suggest to anyone that feels insecure and vulnerable in these unsettled that they should do the same.
Have you ever
Monday, October 6th, 2008though about what investment vehicle your retirement savings are in? Most people, myself included, seem to just go with the flow and particpate in their employer-sponsored 401k plan. Many people don’t even fully contribute to it, even when the company has a matching contribution program. If your company has a matching system, you definitely ought to maximize it because no where else will you get an immediate 50% return on your investment! I’ve been doing some research into a sep ira which looks really appealing to me, but I’d have to get a small business license for all my side projects to qualify.
Wondering About Financial Planning Careers
Friday, October 3rd, 2008I think it’s high time I learned more about
Financial Planning Careers. I’m sick of practicing law, and would rather help individual people out with their finances.
From what I can tell from reading about
the Institute Of Certified Financial Planners, the requirements aren’t too bad for someone with a law degree.
I couldn’t possibly care less about working with big corporations. I much prefer to help people I know with their finances.
Let me know what you think about all this.
